Google Chrome - "The World is Still Round"

What I like about Google is that whatever they do, they seem to do well. Not that they always do a lot. Much of what they do is functional and minimalist, and generally I think that's a good thing. But wow! What a surprise Google Chrome turned out to be. I had to download it, as soon as Chrome was available to download.

Google Chrome Fights IE8

The announcements about the Google Chrome web browser seemed to follow closely on from Microsoft's announcements about Internet Explorer 8 (IE8), in particular the privacy mode.

3G Slow Speeds Not Just For iPhone Users

How many of us get anywhere near the 3G speeds claimed by network-operators? Ok, so it's a rhetorical question because we all no the answer; none of us! Walled Gardens and Electric Fences

Somthing caught my eye on a visit to an Orange shop, here in Edinburgh. It was some daft promotion that allowed unmetered access to MySpace, Facebook, and eBay with specific Orange contracts. There's so much wrong with this that it's difficult to know where to start. I mean, does the mobile web consist of just three sites?

Tesco Sullies Kasabian

Actually, it was their advert for Lynyrd Skynyrd that prompted me to write this entry. It's like this; music is meant to have some credibility, be cool, be safe, however you want to express it. Tesco is exactly not this.
